In collaboration with the Italian Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is selecting the delegates who will represent Italy at Youth 7 (Y7) and Youth 20 (Y20), the official engagement groups of the G20 and G7 dedicated to young people.
For the first time in history, in 2021 Italy will host the Y20 Summit, the official engagement group of the G20 Italy. Y20 will be organized by the Young Ambassadors Society.
The Y20 Summit will be held at the end of July in the city of Milan and YAS is selecting the three Italian Delegates who will participate in the Summit.
The delegates will be called to discuss the following topics:
1. Inclusion
2. Sustainability, climate change and the environment
3. Innovation, digitization and the future of work
The conclusions reached by the delegates will be collected in a final communiqué which will be presented to the leaders of the G20.
To apply, delegates must meet the following requirements:
• Age between 18 and 30 at the time of the Summit.
• Excellent command of the English language and ability to negotiate with other delegates.
• Excellent academic record and / or volunteer or work experience.
• Deep knowledge of at least one of the three themes listed above.
• Have demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong interest in foreign policy and / or international affairs.
• Understanding of global problems with a multicultural perspective.
• Be able to participate and engage in preparation for the Y20 Summit.
Accommodation and meals during your stay in Milan will be covered. However, the expenses of the round trip to and from Milan will be borne by each delegate.
Delegates should be proactive, enthusiastic and motivated, individually and in groups.
They will also be asked to work on the preparation of the Summit (e.g. doing research on the topics covered, participating in negotiations and online meetings, writing policy papers, etc.) and to work on any follow-up after the Summit.
Selected candidates could be contacted for a short online / telephone interview.
The deadline for submitting your application is 10 February 2021.
We will evaluate the applications in order of arrival, for this reason we advise candidates to apply as soon as possible.

The Y7 Summit will be held in Great Britain in late May 2021.
YAS is selecting the four Italian Delegates who will participate in the Summit.

3. Global Economy
4. Health

To apply, delegates must meet the following requirements:
• Age between 18 and 30 years.
• Excellent command of the English language and ability to negotiate with other delegates.
• Excellent academic record and / or volunteer or work experience.
• Have demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong interest in foreign policy and / or international affairs.
• Understanding global issues with a perspective for the Y7 Summit.
• Be able to participate and engage in preparation for the Y7 Summit.

Within a global network, Young Ambassadors Society aims to foster dialogue and cooperation among young people and offer them opportunities to make their voices heard and make a difference. Through meetings and events, we create the conditions to learn and raise awareness on many issues related to the economy, international politics and innovation. In particular, YAS selects the Italian Youth Delegations participating in international Conferences and Summits, such as Y7 and Y20, the engagement groups of the G7 and G20 Summits.
